CUET UG 2026 Official Notification
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the public notice for the Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2026. This is the gateway for students seeking admission into Undergraduate Programmes across all Central Universities and participating State, Deemed, and Private Universities for the academic session 2026-27.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide
Applying for CUET can seem daunting, but following these steps will ensure a smooth registration:
Step 1: Registration
Visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in.
Click on the “New Registration” link.
Enter your basic details (Name, Date of Birth, Email, and Mobile Number).
Create a strong password and choose a security question.
Once submitted, a system-generated Application Number will be sent to your email and phone.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
Login using your Application Number and Password.
Personal Details: Provide information on category, PwBD status, father’s/mother’s occupation, etc.
Educational Details: Fill in your Class 10 and Class 12 (or equivalent) marks and school details.
University & Programme Selection: Choose the universities and specific courses you wish to apply for. You can add multiple choices.
Test Paper Selection: Select your subjects (Languages, Domains, and General Test). Note: For 2026, you can select up to 5 subjects.
Step 3: Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies of the following in the prescribed format:
Photograph: (10 KB – 200 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
Signature: (4 KB – 30 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
Category/PwD Certificate: (If applicable) in PDF format (50 KB – 300 KB).
Step 4: Examination Fee Payment
Pay the fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI.
General: ₹1000 (up to 3 subjects)
OBC-NCL/EWS: ₹900 (up to 3 subjects)
SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: ₹800 (up to 3 subjects)

The NTA has emphasized that candidates should ensure their Aadhaar details and Category Certificates are updated to avoid rejection. With the new “No Choice” rule (all 50 questions compulsory), your preparation needs to be more comprehensive than ever.
